Based on the proven deep-vee hull of the Sabre 36 Express MKII, the Sabre 36 Sedan was offered in three versatile configurations: Flybridge Sedan, extended Hard Top, and Sedan without flybridge. Powered by standard twin Yanmar 315 hp diesels (with optional 370 hp upgrade), she cruised at 18–24 knots with a top speed of 30 knots.

Her handcrafted cherry interior featured a private forward stateroom, full galley, spacious head with circular shower, and a bright salon with lower helm and side deck access. Wide side decks, high-end hardware, and a gently sloped staircase led to a comfortable flybridge, while the optional extended hard top transformed the cockpit into a protected, year-round living space.
